This growing local employer are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Ledger Clerk with a good customer service skills to join their busy team of professionals.


Some of your duties will include:


  • - Managing client accounts and minimising the risk of bad debt by monitoring payments received
  • - Raising sales invoices and credit notes on a weekly basis and posting onto accounts systems
  • - Allocating payments received by cheque and BACS onto clients’ accounts and preparing banking documentation
  • - Managing credit control function and chasing overdue payments by telephone, email and correspondence
  • - Agreeing repayment terms with clients when needed and ensuring they are adhered to
  • - Calculating retrospective volume and settlement discounts and issuing to clients on a monthly basis
