If you are at the start of your career in accountancy and would like to join a small, very successful Practice then this Assistant Accountant role is perfect for you.

Some of your duties will include:

• Assisting Accountant with the preparation of accounts on behalf of a wide range clients
• Working on behalf of small businesses, sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies
• Managing bookkeeping function from instigation stage through to trial balance level
• Preparing sales, purchase and nominal ledger records on computer system
• Producing cash book records, reconciling bank statements and investigating anomalies
• Calculating and preparing VAT returns for clients and completing online submissions
