Description

This employer has an exceptional reputation within the local area and their busy Accounts Department currently require a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their successful team.

 

Some of your duties will include:

 

  • Managing the purchase ledger function and processing supplier cheque and BACs payments
  • Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders and allocating nominal codes
  • Inputting invoices onto ledger system and forwarding to line Manager for payment approval
  • Reconciling supplier statements and producing cheque and BACs payments
  • Managing any payment queries that occur and ensuring all issues are resolved
  • Maintaining filing system holding copies of all invoices which have been processed and paid
