This is a brilliant opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk with good commercial experience to join a fantastic local organisation who we have worked with for many years!


Some of your duties will include:


  • Assisting with the purchase ledger function and processing supplier cheque and BACs payments
  • Inputting invoices onto ledger system and forwarding to line Managers for payment approval
  • Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders and allocating nominal codes
  • Reconciling supplier statements with computer records and investigating anomalies
  • Ensuring that supplier payments are processed in accordance with agreed payment terms
  • Maintaining filing system holding copies of all invoices which have been processed and paid
