This established local organisation are currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement Manager to join their happy and busy team and assist with the management of the buying function.


Some of your duties will include:


  • Providing extensive support in the Buying Department and assisting with day to day administrative activities
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring there is an adequate stock available to meet sales order requirements
  • Raising purchase order documentation, placing orders with suppliers and agreeing delivery schedules
  • Maintaining an accurate record of purchases, price changes and supplier lead time on computer system
  • Monitoring sales levels in order to produce an accurate forecast of future stock requirements
  • Maintaining the computerised supplier database and updating information held when necessary
