An established firm of Accountants in the local area need a Payroll Assistant to support the management and production of client payrolls.


Some of your duties will include:


  • Assisting with preparing payrolls on behalf of a wide range of small business clients
  • Ensuring that fortnightly and monthly payroll files are received on time from clients
  • Accurately logging new starter details onto the payroll system and processing leavers
  • Processing ad hoc payroll paperwork ie: Attachment of Earnings, fines and Company loans
  • Administering statutory deductions including sick payments, maternity pay and paternity pay
  • Ensuring the timely processing of payrolls and issuing wage payslips and managing payment queries
