This is a brilliant opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic Logistics Administrator who is looking to further their career and join a growing, very established local organisation where there will be excellent prospects for advancement.


Some of your duties will include:


  • - Maintaining accurate stock records on computer system and recording details of all stock movement
  • - Raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers based in the UK, EU and Far East
  • - Liaising with relevant Freight Forwarders to co-ordinate the import of new stock into the UK
  • - Tracking purchase order progress, making sure critical path is followed and delivery schedules are achieved
  • - Reconciling goods received against purchase orders and booking onto the stock control system
  • - Checking supplier invoices received and checking cost against original quotations
