This growing local Company are seeking an experienced and professional Financial Controller to join their successful team, there will be plenty of opportunity for responsibility and progression in this role.


Some of your duties will include:


  • Managing the accounts function and supervising, motivating and training junior Accounts Assistants
  • Administering the sales ledger, raising sales invoices and recording payments received on client accounts
  • Checking purchase invoices received matching invoices with delivery notes and processing supplier payments
  • Managing credit control function, chasing overdue client payments and minimising the risk of bad debt
  • Calculating, preparing and producing quarterly VAT returns and processing HMRC payments
  • Producing staff payroll, processing commissions and preparing monthly PAYE returns for the HMRC
