Accounts Assistant
Description
If you would like to join a small, friendly organisation and manage their sales and purchase leger then this Accounts Assistant position could really suit you.
Some of your duties will include:
- Managing the accounts function and preparing a wide range of financial reports
- Checking purchase invoices received, reconciling supplier statements and processing weekly payments
- Raising sales invoices and reconciling details of cheque and BACS payments received
- Preparing debtor reports and chasing overdue client payments by telephone and email
- Reconciling accounts at month-end and preparing profit and loss reports
- Preparing accrual and prepayment schedules and posting month-end journals
