Accounts Assistant
Description
A flexible and adaptable Accounts Assistant is required by a large, local organisation, excellent prospects are available.
Some of your duties will include:
- Reporting to the finance manager and assisting with the day to day accounts function
- Checking supplier invoices received and matching invoices with delivery notes
- Posting invoices onto the purchase ledger and allocating nominal codes
- Forwarding invoices to line manager in order to obtain payment permission
- Reconciling supplier statements and administering cheque and BACs payment runs
- Handling any invoice of payment queries that arise and resolving all queries
