This local organisation has built itself from the ground up with the help of their committed staff who just want to succeed, they now need a committed Accounts Clerk to join their successful accounts team.


Some of your duties will include:


  • Ensuring that supplier accounts are managed efficiently and payment deadlines are met
  • Matching invoices with delivery notes and inputting invoices onto the purchase ledger system
  • Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any anomalies that occur
  • Processing weekly supplier payments by cheque and BACs system and managing any payment queries that arise
  • Calculating VAT payments processed and preparing management reports detailing VAT to be claimed back
  • Reconciling supplier accounts, assisting with month end process and preparing creditor reports
