Description

This is a brilliant opportunity within a successful local Company for an ambitious and energetic Accounts Clerk who is seeking a new challenge in the workplace.

 

Some of your duties will include:

 

  • Supporting the Accounts Manager with a variety of day to day accounts and finance activities
  • Checking purchase invoices received and raising cheque and BACs supplier payments
  • Raising sales invoices, statements and credit notes and recording payments received
  • Managing the credit control function and chasing overdue payments by telephone and email
  • Maintaining cash book, reconciling bank statements on a weekly basis and investigating anomalies
  • Assisting with the production of quarterly VAT return and submitting online payments to HMRC
