Second Interview Advice

If you want to successfully get a job - read this

Congratulations you have passed a first interview and you have been selected to attend a second interview.

You are definitely in contention for the job, although a second interview does not mean you will be offered the role, if anything you need to impress the interviewer more than during your first interview as all applicants selected for second interviews will be suitable for the role and the decision will undoubtedly depend on who performs best at the second interview.

Compared to the first interview you need to be prepared to answer MORE questions, meet MORE people, be MORE prepared and be put under MORE pressure.

GENERAL SECOND INTERVIEW ADVICE:

Remember to get the basics right.
  • Arrive on time - earlier or later than 10 minutes before the interview is simply rude.
  • Dress to impress - only a dark business suit will do.
  • First impressions count - shake the interviewers hand, look them in the eye and smile, smile, smile.
  • Use good body language - look interested at all times.
  • Do not discuss salary, holiday, benefits, sick pay etc.
  • Never let it appear that it is all about what you want - it should always be about what you can offer the Company.

  • You have the facility to check out current job vacancies, you are also able to attach your CV and receive an immediate response from ourselves.
